Rob here again. We left False Bear Jaw Cove on Whale Island bright and early this morning, beat ESE all morning,WSW all afternoon. Made close to 15 miles.

Snorri inching her way south under sail

Southerly wind shifted, couldn't close with shore, and are now sitting east of False Bear Jaw Cove, laying to our sea anchor. Oh well, that's sailing for you.

... and pretty skillfully, from the looks of it

Today was another project day at Camp Snorri. Ditty bag decorations, fids, seam rubbers, canoe paddles, chisels, needle cases, etc. are some of the projects being worked on. "Lure of the Labrador Wild" and "Great Heart " - both books about the 1903 and 1905 canoe trips through Labrador to Ungava Bay by Wallace, Hubbard, and Elson are the books of choice on the boat right now.

Till next time.
