2:12 a.m. July 24th - Beautiful sunrise directly on the heels of a similar sunset

 



Similar results to the distant sharp rifle reports that broke this morning's sunrise, as the local hunters take advantage of the lasting light


11 a.m. July 24th - An awesome day. I'm adding pine tar to my previously clean sweater while re-running the halyard to avoid hockles. Unfortunately, the weather didn't hold.

 



2 p.m. July 24th - Rob bought toys for kids he meets on the way. Some will be slightly used, as Doug shows his Etch-A-Sketch skills in a portrait of Hodding.







11 p.m. July 24th - The fog has settled in - and so have we...to a rousing game of KAPAKA. The remaining four players battle it out to see who will be relieved of anchor duty. Hodding will sleep well tonight.
